MestReNova

Mnova is a multivendor software suite designed for processing data from NMR, LC-MS, GC-MS, and Electronic & Vibrational Spectroscopic techniques (UV-VIS, FT-IR etc.). Mnova is available for installation on Windows, Linux, and MacOS machines.

Students from the Radboud University can install mestreNova under the university site licence on their personal computer, consult brightspace for more information.

After installing Mnova there are a few settings you need to tweek:

User Interface

After lauching Mnova you should see the ribbon interface. If you do so you can skip this section and proceed to the 'User Preferences'

 if you see the classic interface on the top of your screen browse to 'Edit'>'Preferences' and under the 'Inferface' tab change the 'Theme' to 'Modern'

 After changing the theme MNova needs to be restarted to effectuate the change.

User Preferences

Open the 'Preferences' menu by clicking 'File'>'Preferences' and select 'NMR' on the top of the menu and deselect the 'Apodiztion' option on the import tab.

select 'Mass' on the top of the menu and deselect the 'Live Mass Spectrum Preview' option on the General tab.

Also deselect the 'Show Mass Browser' on the 'Import' tab.
